So while we hold the phone it looks quite amazing for the budget segment so let’s just move ahead and see what all it contains.

Design & Overview

Looking at phone at first glance the phone looks great but you can notice the subtle plastic build at the back as it is the budget segment phone it is made out of the plastic and it can be quite fingerprint magnet so we recommend you to use the phone with the case, although the case is not included in the box. At the right side we get the power button along with volume rockers. At the top there is a secondary noise cancellation mic and at left side you get the sim tray which is a triple slot tray moving to the bottom we get the USB type c port along with the headphone jack, speaker and a microphone.

At the front you can see the Infinity V style notch display which is a first from the Samsung for which we will see in a while and above the display we get the earpiece integrated at the edge. At back we get the dual rear camera setup along with the fingerprint sensor placed at ideal location for your index finger to unlock the device.

The phone also include Widevine L1 certification to stream HD content on NETFLIX and Amazon Prime. You can also get great sound output from the device as it also has DOLBY ATMOS surround sound.

Display

Samsung Galaxy M20 comes with 6.3-inch infinity V style FHD+ TFT display as generally launched by the Samsung having the resolution of 1080*2340 resulting into 409 PPI. At glance the display is quite great, coming back in the mid-range segment Samsung has done great work.

Core

It is powered by Samsung own Exynos 7904 clocked at 1.8 GHz Dual Core with cortex A73 and six cores running at 1.6 GHz with Mali-G71 MP2. Daily day to day usage is manageable with this device. Also for gaming you can get the medium quality setting while using PUBG Mobile.

It has got Samsung own ONE UI with Android 8.1 out of the box but it got the upgrade of Android 9.0 PIE. The UI is fast but with a little bloatware which you cannot uninstall it, although you could disable it.

Camera

It houses dual rear camera setup which has main 13 MP with aperture f/1.9 and Ultra wide 5 MP with aperture f/2.2. It has video capability up to 1080p at 30 fps.

Coming to the selfie camera, it has 8MP with aperture f/2.0 which also has video rate at 1080p at 30fps.

Storage

It comes in the two storage option one which is of 3GB/32GB on board storage and another higher variant which has 4GB/64GB option. Both can be expanded up to 1TB via the dedicated micro SD slot. So far this is the best inclusion by Samsung for not going into the Hybrid sim tray option in the budget segment.

Battery and Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy M20 has got massive 5000mAh battery along with the proprietary 15W fast charger. This can last you for the day or day and a half on medium usage.

It houses generally all the sensor which mobile phone should contain with Bluetooth 5.0.
